“For nearly 35 years, families have chosen the Ford Explorer, making it America’s all-time best-selling SUV. We have refined almost every part of the new Explorer – focusing on a redesigned interior, additional technology like BlueCruise hands-free highway driving and special editions like the 400 horsepower Explorer ST. It’s the right combination of delivering what the next generation of customers want and love in a large SUV.”

Ford Digital Experience

Let’s start by diving into the new Ford Digital Experience infotainment system, which is being introduced right here in the all-new 2025 Explorer. This new system will offer more control and connectivity at your fingertips than ever before, enabling you to access your favorite apps and services through Google and Amazon built right in. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included for even more capabilities, as well. It all comes together in the form of a massive new 13.2” touchscreen display, front and center on the dashboard.

Interior Cabin Updates

In addition to the new infotainment system, the interior cabin has been improved in many other ways to boot. For example, new wrap-and-stitch soft-touch surfaces can be found all over the dashboard and doors, as well as the center console. You can also opt for ActiveX durable premium synthetic seating material if you wish. Plus, there are a host of new interior color schemes available depending on which trim level you opt for, from Mojave Dusk on the Platinum to Black Onyx on several others.

We’ve only scratched the surface of everything there is to get excited about in the all-new 2025 Ford Explorer, so be sure to check back often for additional details and updates. For example, we’ll surely dive further into the new BlueCruse hands-free highway driving technology, which we cannot wait to try for ourselves.
