At Briggs of Fort Scott, we understand that smart business investments can make a big difference. That’s why right now is the perfect time to upgrade your fleet and take full advantage of the 2025 Section 179 tax deduction. When you purchase a qualifying vehicle this year, you may be able to deduct up to 100 percent of the cost rather than spreading the write-off over several years.

Under the 2025 guidelines, eligible businesses can deduct as much as $1,220,000, with a spending cap of $3,050,000 for purchases placed in service before December 31, 2025. At our dealership, we carry a wide selection of commercial-grade vehicles that align with Section 179 eligibility: heavy-duty trucks with GVWR over 6,000 lbs, vans, cargo vehicles, and SUVs used more than 50 percent for business purposes.

Choosing Briggs of Fort Scott gives you more than just access to the right vehicles. Our team works across brands like Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, RAM and more to match you with a vehicle that fits both your business needs and tax strategy. We’re here to help you navigate the options, connect with specialists familiar with fleet and commercial use, and get you behind the wheel of a vehicle that could unlock substantial savings this tax year.

If you’re ready to invest in your business and take advantage of Section 179, stop by Briggs of Fort Scott or give us a call at 620-644-9888. Let’s find the right vehicle and make 2025 a year of smart growth and strong returns.
