Learn to Drive Off-Road at Ford Ranger Raptor Assault School

Ford Performance Racing School Ranger Raptor Assault School

Have you ever wondered how exactly you can learn to drive off-road if it’s not something you feel comfortable just trying out for yourself? It’s a good question, and we’re not sure how many options there are out there, but we do know of one new option coming this summer. While you’ll have to make some travel plans, you can head to the new Ford Ranger Raptor Assault School to learn how to drive off-road! This new owner experience is specifically meant for owners of the 2024 Ford Ranger, so if you’ve got one in your garage or driveway you should definitely consider it.

“Our goal is for owners, whether novices or off-road veterans, to experience the full capability of Ranger Raptor and get a true understanding of the passion and attention to detail that Ford engineers put into developing it.”

- Will Ford, General Manager, Ford Performance

When & where is it?

This new experience, which has a really cool name if we say so ourselves – Ranger Raptor Assault School, will kick off in June. We don’t yet know how many times they’ll run the experience or for how long it will be available, but we know it’s a single day of instruction. It’s being hosted by and at the Ford Performance Racing School located in Tooele Valley, Utah. That’d be quite the drive, but the school will be providing all Ranger Raptors used during the course of the training. So you can book a flight or travel however you want, but those travel expenses and your own lodging is all you’ll have to cover as meals will be provided.

How does it work?

Since it’s taking place at the Ford Performance Racing School, whose instructors have a great reputation for friendliness, knowledge and incredible talent, we know that however the lessons unfold they’re sure to be good. Both classroom instruction and hands-on off-road training will take place, including rock crawling, Baja runs, climbing, side hilling, descending, braking, Tread Lightly principles and more.
