At the time of this page’s creation we were still a few months away from release, but it is expected to be available in late 2024 or early 2025, so if that time has come be sure to give us a call right here at Briggs Fort Scott, Kansas, to inquire about availability of the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD!

Unique Design & Mechanics

As with all sports and supercars, the vehicle needs to be as light as possible to maximize performance. That’s why this wide-stanced pony features an extensive amount of carbon fiber body panels. Engineers also gave the vehicle a lower center of gravity to enhance its responsiveness as well as its style. The Mustang GTD will roll on an incredible set of exotic magnesium wheels wrapped in 325mm tires up front and 345mm tires in back.

Powertrain & Performance

Beneath the hood of this unique Mustang will rest a Ford Performance-engineered 5.2L V8 supercharged engine capable of generating over 800 horsepower. It’ll be tethered to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission to maximize performance. Also enhancing performance is the vehicle’s semi-active state-of-the-art suspension system that includes a short-long arm front suspension and dual ride height. What’s more, you’ll be able to adjust the system through the rear window, also maximizing the vehicle’s showmanship.

Aerodynamics & Handling

From the images you’ll probably have noticed one of the most aerodynamic additions to this vehicle right off the bat. An active rear wing is mounted on the C-pillar to provide a massive amount of downforce for enhanced controls. Further enhancing the handling of the vehicle is its near 50/50 weight distribution made possible by a carbon fiber driveshaft connected to the eight-speed rear transaxle. While the run hasn’t happened yet, Ford plans to complete the grueling Nurburgring course in less than seven minutes.
