Digital Cockpit

One of the most exciting updates found in the next-gen Mustang is the immersive digital cockpit that engineers poured a lot of focus and attention into. This cockpit was inspired by fighter jets and it puts the driver at the center to enhance the driving experience. The digital cockpit includes two curved display screens, including a 12.4” digital instrument cluster and a 13.2” SYNC 4 display audio screen.

Power & Performance

Shoppers will be able to choose between two different engine options when selecting their Ford Mustang. The base option is a 2.3L EcoBoost engine and the more powerful alternative is a 5.0L Coyote V8, which will be found in the Mustang GT. Not only is it more powerful than the EcoBoost engine, but it’s the most powerful 5.0L Coyote V8 the brand has ever built. Technical specs have not yet been released.

Dark Horse Variant

While everything about the next-gen Mustang is exciting, perhaps the most thrilling news is the introduction of the Mustang Dark Horse variant. This unique model is the first Mustang performance series produced in over two decades, so we’re stoked to see what it’s capable of, especially with the 500 horsepower the manufacturer has stated its version of the Coyote V8 will be able to generate.
