For those truck drivers and enthusiasts who need even more capabilities than the Chevy Silverado 1500 is capable of delivering, the automaker offers the Silverado HD. Available in two different overall styles, the 2500HD and 3500HD, the Chevy Silverado HD offers everything a consumer needs from a heavy-duty pickup truck. For the 2024 model year, the Silverado HD is all-new as it gets an upgrade in power, an enhanced interior cabin and a host of smarter, more advanced technologies. We’re stoked to be able to offer the 2024 Silverado HD to shoppers right here in Fort Scott, Kansas, and the surrounding area.
The entire Silverado HD lineup has been significantly redesigned for the 2024 model year, starting with the exterior. A new fascia, including a new grille and headlights, showcases the heavy-duty pickup’s new appearance right from first glance. Inside, the infotainment system and instrument panel have been redesigned, just to scratch the surface of everything that’s new. Furthermore, a host of updates come to the various technologies and features found in the truck, such as newly available Adaptive Cruise Control.
For fans of the Chevy brand, you’ve likely heard of the High Country trim level. It’s the top-of-the-line trim available on several different models, including the Traverse and Tahoe. For the 2024 model year, the Silverado HD will offer a Midnight Edition package only available on the High Country trim level. It adds a host of black design cues including the hood vent, grille, lower skid plate, mirror skull caps, body-side molding and inserts, 20” high gloss wheels, DLO, door handles, assist steps, bowtie and badging.
Naturally, towing or trailering is one of the most important aspects of a heavy-duty pickup truck like the Silverado HD. Several updates have come to the truck this year specifically in this regard. Enhanced Transparent Trailer adds this technology’s capabilities to fifth-wheel and gooseneck trailers. Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert and Adaptive Cruise Control with Trailer are a pair of advanced safety features designed for towing. The highest trailering capacity the lineup has to offer is 36K lbs. from the dual-wheel 3500HD.
