The Toyota Tacoma, believe it or not, has been around longer than a quarter century. It made its debut back in 1995 before the turn of the millennium, and is currently in its third generation since inception. It remains one of the most popular midsize pickup trucks on the market competing with models like the Chevy Colorado and Nissan Frontier. The 2023 Toyota Tacoma continues to make an excellent option in its segment and it’s available right here at Briggs Fort Scott in our namesake Fort Scott, Kansas.
For the 2023 model year, Toyota is introducing a pair of packages for the Tacoma SR5 trim. The Chrome Package is a brand-new option available on V6-powered SR5 Double Cab trucks with a 5-foot bed. It adds 18” chrome-finished alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and chrome-finished outer door handles, exhaust tip and tailgate TACOMA insert. In addition, the popular SX Package is now available on the SR5.
The 2023 Toyota Tacoma is available in an astounding 34 different model configurations. This is thanks to the truck being available in two different cab styles (Access Cab and Double Cab), two different drivetrains (4x2 and 4x4), two different bed lengths (5-foot and 6-foot) and seven different trim levels (SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, Trail Special Edition and TRD Pro). Packages like the two mentioned to the left further differentiate.
Toyota Safety Sense is among the industry’s best suites of advanced driver-assistive safety technologies, and it comes standard across the board. This means every single 2023 Toyota Tacoma will come standard with Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High Beams, all in addition to other great safety features.
