What’s new for 2022?

Having undergone a major refresh this year, there’s far too much new this year to fit into one paragraph. Some of the highlights include a new 13.4” infotainment screen, new exterior design cues like a grille and headlamp design, new interior cues as well including a redesign instrument cluster and much more. The most exciting addition this year is, of course, the Sierra Denali Ultimate trim level, taking luxury to the next level.

Available Trim Levels

All of the mainstays return this year, including the SLE, SLT, Elevation, AT4 and Denali trim levels. But now they’re joined by two of the most exciting trim levels available on the lineup, including last year’s addition the incredibly off-road-capable AT4X trim, and this year’s brand-new Denali Ultimate premium pickup. There are plenty of options for you to choose from to ensure you get the right Sierra model for you.

Power & Performance

In addition to all the other new stuff we mentioned, there’s a new powertrain option and another one has been improved. Options include the new 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine, which is capable of generating up to 430 pound-feet of torque, an improved 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel option that now delivers best-in-class 277 horsepower, the 5.3LV8 and the 6.2L V8 options, both of which offer Dynamic Fuel Management.
